TigerLink Dial-Up Service

Support

TigerLink dial-up service is available for off-campus access at speeds up to 56K. TigerLink offers automatic payroll deduction for faculty/staff, or departmental billing.

This service is only available to individuals with a current MU affiliation, including retired MU faculty and staff. TigerLink is not available to the general public.

Fees

There are no setup fees for TigerLink dial-up service. Monthly usage charges are as follows:
  • 30 hours: $5
  • 60 hours: $9
  • 90 hours: $12
  • 120 hours: $15
  • additional hours: $0.50/hour

Off-peak discount

Every two minutes of usage during the off-peak period (2 A.M.- 10 A.M.) is billed as one minute.

Nationwide access

A $0.13/minute charge applies when using the 877-MU-MODEM (877-686-6336) toll-free dial-up number from anywhere in the continental United States. The charge is in addition to the monthly service charge.

Rate plan changes

Changes to plans take effect on the 15th of the month. Billing cycles run from the 15th to the 14th of the following month. Rate plan changes are free of charge.

Availability

Please use the TigerLink Service Request form to request new TigerLink service, change your rate plan, or cancel service. Use the My Services usage tool to check your TigerLink usage.

MU retirees must first Sign up for Access IT service by calling (573)882-2000, or visiting us at 615 Locust Street in Columbia. Subscribing to Access IT service requires you to abide by the MU Acceptable Use Policy.
