Print Smart
Print Smart is a print-accounting service that manages printing usage in the computing sites. Students are automatically enrolled in the service at no charge. Faculty and staff (or students with departmental teaching or research appointments) can print in public computing sites for MU-related activity by using a budget code (MoCode) to pay for their output.
When logging in to print, faculty and staff should enter PawPrint/MoCode for the user name. The password will be the same as your e-mail password.
Print Quota and Fees
Faculty and staff (or students with departmental teaching or research appointments) do not receive a quota. A MoCode must be used and charges below apply. Departmental fiscal officers should use the Print Smart account manager to add an authorized user to a MoCode or obtain current usage for a Print Smart account. Individual faculty, staff, or students may use the My Services usage tool to check their own Print Smart usage.
Students that are financially enrolled at MU receive a $35 (per academic year) nonrefundable print quota allotted for printing in MU computing sites. Students enrolled for the summer period receive an additional $7 nonrefundable print quota. Professional students receive $50 (per academic year) nonrefundable print quota. A portion of the cost of student printing is funded through the Information Technology Fee (ITF). For more information about student printing via Print Smart, please refer to the Print Smart page.
See the tips for conserving paper and quota KnowledgeBase article for ways to reduce paper usage.
