Retiree Access IT Program and Resources

You've served the University for years and are an honored member of the University community. The Division of Information Technology's Retiree Access IT Program offers you a low-cost way to maintain your affiliation and enjoy many of the same services you had while working at MU.

Benefits

  • Continue to use your University e-mail.
  • Attend IT Training in courses covering Microsoft Office, designing Web pages, and even editing photographs!
  • Access a variety of electronic resources at Ellis Library.
  • Purchase discounted selections of hardware and software at TigerTech in Brady Commons.

Signing Up

Sign up for Access IT service by calling (573)882-2000 or visiting us at 615 Locust Street in Columbia. The Division of IT will bill you $24 each summer for service running from July 1 to June 30 the following year. Annual fees are nonrefundable. Subscribing to Access IT service requires you to abide by the MU Acceptable Use Policy.

Connecting

You can access and read your e-mail using a Web browser if you already have an Internet Service Provider (ISP) such as Mediacom, CenturyTel, Socket, AOL, and others. You are not required to use TigerLink to read your e-mail.

Existing E-Mail Accounts

To keep an existing account, you must enroll in the program within 30 days of separation from the University. You can enroll after the 30-day period; keep in mind, however, that your account contents, including e-mail, might not be available.

To access Webmail, go to http://webmail.missouri.edu.
