IT Security Incident ReportingReport Security ProblemsUniversity employees are required to report all suspected information security incidents and weaknesses to the Division of IT. Examples of information security incidents and weaknesses include:
Report Abusive E-MailPlease send abusive or harassing e-mail to abuse@missouri.edu. You must include the Internet header information of the message. The Internet header contains valuable information that contains how the e-mail was sent and from what location. For example:Received from alpha.somewhere.edu ([128.175.44.54]) by beta.elsewhere.com with SMTP id <11350(4)>; Tue, 3 Jul 2001 16:23:18 -1000. Report SpamPlease visit junk e-mail, unsolicited commercial e-mail or spam. Also, to effectively report spam, you can e-mail the message including the Internet headers to spam@missouri.edu.Report Network AbusePlease report any viruses, network attacks, network or port scans, etc. to abuse@missouri.edu. Please include the following:
