Software Anywhere

Software Anywhere provides remote, temporary and shared access to several software application licenses. Software Anywhere is available at no charge, 24 hours a day. Eligibility is limited to students and faculty using the software as part of their curricula. You will need a valid username (formerly PawPrint) and password to access Software Anywhere.

Documents and files created using Software Anywhere can be printed or saved to local computers, to personal Bengal space, or to your Windows Live SkyDrive.

  • Internet Explorer
  • Mathematica
  • Minitab
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • OpenOffice.org
  • Safari
  • SAS
  • SPSS

Connecting to Software Anywhere

To connect to Software Anywhere, you must be on campus or connected to the campus network through Virtual Private Networking (VPN).

Note: The Software Anywhere web interface is not compatible with Windows 7. The Division of IT continues to test Windows 7 and will announce any changes as soon as they are available. Windows users must use Internet Explorer to access Software Anywhere.
