Division of IT: Cable TV
Mizzou Cable TV
Mizzou Cable TV service is available in most on-campus buildings and includes about 50 educational, entertainment, news, and foreign-language channels. Each residence hall room and on-campus student apartment has one active cable TV port. Mizzou Cable is not available off-campus or in fraternities or sororities.
Fees
Cable TV fees for students are included in the cost of the residence hall room. Bring a coaxial cable and cable-ready TV. Use good-quality coaxial cable. Low-quality coaxial cable can cause poor reception and other problems.
Departmental cable TV drops are available at a rate of $9 per month for each cable TV drop. These fees are charged back to the department.
Availability
Mizzou Cable is available in academic or administrative buildings, as well as residence hall rooms. Requests should be submitted through the Division of IT's MyServices application. Instructional and special-event videos can be televised for departments as long as copyright guidelines are met.
